Inspire

This page is dedicated to the creative Gardeners who share their world on the web via their blogs. This page is also dedicated to all those Photographers who inspire me to take a closer look into the art of Photography.

He that plants trees loves others besides himself.
Thomas Fuller

Shawna Coronado who inspires me to learn how to grow green every day. Shawna recently was picked up by ChicagoNow.com, a division of the Chicago Tribune which features her writings on how to change your life by living green daily by recycling.
I Also want to mention Joe Lamp’l at Growing a Greener World. I first found Joe on the web in early 2009 when I was challenged to start weighing my harvest from my own veggie garden. What an addictive and wonderful practice. I quickly began following Joe on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. Today Joe is busy with his Growing a greener World project that airs on PBS. My local PBS has yet to pick up this life changing series so I watch it on Joes’ webpage at the link below.

Visit my Greenhouse Sister who grows green all year round up in Canada! I can’t begin to tell  you h ow many times Glenda has helped me with my greenhouse adventure.  Her helpful advice has given me many nights of sweet dreams rather then worrying about the greenhouse out in the winter elements in my garden zone 5b. Her blog filled with Home and Garden ideas is truly one to add to your favorite list! Check out Glenda at Tootsie Time.

I owe my ‘blogging career’ to Joey Randall over at the inspiring pages of  Village Voice. Her breath taking images put together in creative collages and mouth watering recipes caught my eye in 2007.  I was a newbie to the blogging world  when I stumbled upon her delightful blog.

Joey captures her love for living in a northern garden with every entry she adds to the Village Voice.  Her title may state ‘ the ho-hum housewife’ but I truly believe she is everything but.  Thank you Joey for inspiring!

I also want to thank my dear friend Jen of “The Shape of Things To Come”.  Jen has always been there for me and I truly appreciate her friendship and support.  If It weren’t for Jens’ support I’m not sure I would have had the inspiration to share from the beginning.  Sharing health and what we love most truly is what inspires!

A true southern bell who enjoys sharing her life in the garden on her blog at :  Decorate a Garden.   Anna shares videos how-to’s  that will inspire you to get out and garden.  I love her new layout she is featuring on her site filled with EVERYTHING a southern garden is made of!

Starting MY OWN BLOG and being ‘discovered’ by Shirley Bovshow who has featured me on the Garden World Report. was a great inspiration for me. I look forward to Shirley’s weekly updates from around the world  because it allows me to stay connected at my connivance and most of all be INSPIRED even though the ‘real world’ garden community is not as accessible to me out here in Farm Land!   Thank you so very much SHIRLEY for believing in me and keeping us connected to the Garden

Brenda, I just wanted to let you know how pleased and honored I was to see that you had placed our Growing a Greener World logo on the front of your blog! To do this on your own without our even suggesting such a thing, tells me you get what we’re trying to do with this unique television series. Telling the stories of people places and organizations doing great things for the planet, with an emphasis on gardening is very much what you are doing with your blog in a fun and inviting way. No wonder we’re mutual fans! Keep up the great work on our end. I don’t get to read many blogs these days but when I do, yours is one is always one of them. Thanks for “getting it” and for spreading the good word!
