Happy New Year

Happy New Year Everyone!

I think this is the first year I’m not feeling bummed about being ‘fluffy’ (my term for being over weight) and making a new year resolutions that is domed like all the years past.  One thing I learned in 2012 is that you have to put your heart into life and live it knowing that you are accountable for your actions.  No sense in fretting over ‘ifs’, ‘buts’ and ‘hear say’ : life is passing you by if you don’t just grab the shovel and start digging you are never going to get that tree planted!

Kumquat in my Ohio Greenhouse New Years Day 2013

This New Years Day I’m going to promise my audience who visit my sites and look at my photographs that I’m going to continue to put my heart into what I share.  I’m going to do my best to continue sharing the real world as I see it whether it be sharing a recipe I enjoy, tips on growing veggies or just simple DIY ideas.  God knows this world needs more love and I’m going to do my best ‘bring it’ from Ohio!

The image of my kumquat ready to be harvested in my Ohio greenhouse this New Years Day is my message to you : it says if a busy mom like me can grow citrus in Ohio then anything is possible!  Subscribe to my site to receive updates about how I grow easy and more.

Yesterday I shared my #2012recap from the garden and more on Flickr.  I hope you will enjoy the album below.
