“Brilliant!” : I Want You To Join Us For Tea!

Brilliant : Follow #FlowerShow on Twitter for Show Details

“Brilliant!” is what the English say for #awesomeness ( a hashtag I use daily on social for shares I find out of this world! ) In 2013, the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show is celebrating the majestic beauty and creative genius of Great Britain, and pay tribute to centuries of inspiring, influential culture – culminating in the urbane design of 21st-century London. The Flower Show will be open for an extra day in  2013!  You’ll have more time to view the world’s largest indoor horticultural exhibition, shop for plants and gifts, sample wines and spirits, attend special events and activities, and stop to smell the roses – there will be thousands of them.  Find out more about the show at : PHS Flower Show

I’m excited to feature a ticket giveaway on my site to one of my all time favorite events that takes place in #Philly!  No surprise that a city filled with rich American heritage and where American horticulture began would put on such a spectacular show.  If you are in the Philadelphia area you won’t want to miss this giveaway.

  1. I attended the Philly Flower Show last year and it completely blew me away! It’s a fantastic event and even better to win passes! Thank you Bren!

  2. I love the philly show … Mancave rocks so enter me!

  3. I love gardening by going to the nursery and bringing home little plants to grow.

  4. I love gardening because it allows me to be one with my wife, doing the things we love to do together, even when we’re in different parts of the gardens.

  5. i love the ph flower show. we rarely are able to go due to thecost. but when we do, we enjoy it immensley. gardening, is one way of communing with my mom. i fondly remember kneeling next to her in our backyard flower beds. i can still hear her voice tellingme how to spread the roots of the seedings and place them in the prepared hole i had dug. then she said to water “to settle the roots” then cover them back up with loose soil. she had quite a greeen thumb. when i got my own house, she gaveme her old kneeling pad. i used it until it dry rotted. she always pointed out the faces of the pansies and showed me how the snapdragon got its name. if you pinch the flower in jus t the right spot, it opens its mouth and speaks. she made it seem like magic to work in the dirt.

  6. i want tobe entered but i don’t have a twitter account. i did pin thisblog and postedit on my facebook page. thanks.

  7. I haven’t been to the Flower Show since the theme was Tuscany; I was so sad to miss Paris! I’d love to see what they do for GB! There isn’t much I don’t love about gardening, but it’s the connection to something beyond just myself, the connection to the earth, the seasons, nature and the universe as a whole. Thanks for doing this Bren and for the opportunity to win these tickets!

  8. I attended this show years ago and would love to make the drive from Virginia to see it again. I love gardening in my rose garden.

  9. Doug M.in Toronto says:

My sister lives in the area and I would love to visit her and take her to this show because we love English roses!

  10. I’d love to attend the flower show again!
