Pink Promise

This is the year of the rose in my garden. Thanks to all the information and social networking support from my rose enthusiast friends I’m being adventurous and growing roses I never dreamed of trying in my Ohio garden. The other day while shopping at a local garden center I came across this healthy looking rose in a 1 gallon container. I think what sold me was the fact that it has a tag on it with plant name and that it was marked down to $7. The Tag was labeled ‘Pink Promise’. It wasn’t until I got home and Googled the name that I found this rose was dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness.
