Ginkgo After Autumn Frost

Each early Autumn the majestic Ginkgo tree in my garden quickly takes on its gold transition. Within hours of sunrise after the first frost the leaves quickly fall to the ground. Today I share a video of the tree that captivates me with hopes of holding on to its beauty anytime of the year.

  1. Hey Bren, very nice video of the Ginkgo Tree, we live on Ginkgo Rd, but don’t have any Ginkgo tree’s here.. I wonder how they would do in my area.?. I will have to do some research on them.. Enjoy your day!

  2. Every time I see your beautiful posts Bren, I’m reminded of how talented you are! Thanks for sharing such a beautiful Fall video :-) One last thing, is that your little kitty up in the tree?

    • YES… that is my Seymore kitty in the tree. He usually hangs out in the woodline but this morning came up to play in the Ginkgo tree with me. FUNNY STORY : I was focusing on some leaves that were about to fall with my Camera lens and all of a sudden the leaves began to fall quickly…… IT was Seymore up in the tree out on a limb helping nature out. :-)

  3. It does loose it’s leaves quickly, awesome! Love the yellow carpet of leaves on the ground.

  4. I love the yellow leaves raining down. Just lovely.

  5. The leaves falling around Seymore were beautiful. I’d say he framed the picture nicely :-)
