Roasted Pepper Hummus ( fresh & easy)

The heat has returned to my neck of the woods after a week long of much cooler and less humid beautiful summer weather. We could sure use the rain even more so with humidity rising and the full sun beating down on the gardens. My sunflowers are all dropping in the larger veggie garden and between canning and my photography gigs I really don't have the energy to hand water them. Despite the lack of rain the peppers are producing larger yields then I remember them ever doing since I have been growing out here in the country. It could be they 'feel the love' from me since after all they are my babies that were all started from seeds in my greenhouse.

Super Easy Recipe from the Garden

I'm always looking for something tasty and healthy. You can imagine my excitement when I can use most of the veggies I am growing in my own garden. Today I whipped up this super easy family favorite to enjoy for a late afternoon snack. It is made with roasted peppers and garlic picked fresh from my garden today. You can use pita chips or better yet fresh veggies like these cucumbers from my garden for dipping. Now if I could only learn how to grow some garbanzo beans .

    Your peppers look amazing and so does that hummus. Isn’t it great when you grow something from seed and it produces so well! Best feeling ever!
