Basic into Phenomenal:Herb Mayo

Todays recipe share comes from the garden pictured above.

Hard to believe an amazing herb mayonnaise recipe starts in the raised bed pictured above. This raised bed gardening is located just outside of my greenhouse. It is filled with the left overs from my greenhouse that I didn't want to throw out when the temperature got so hot that I couldn't control it any longer. All the containers ended up in this box. It is kind of crazy filled with annuals, herbs and a few perennials but I LOVE IT! When I planted it I felt like I was painting adding a little orange here and some blue there. I was totally in a creative zone.

Bringing the Garden to the Kitchen

First you will want to gather only fresh herbs for this recipe. The freshest the better so pick and wash to use right away.

This is a small job so I am going to chop my herbs and garlic using my Pampered Chef chopper. This little gadget comes in handing when doing little jobs when you don't want to pull out the big food processor.
