Capturing the Sun : Sun Parasol Madavilla

The image above is my prize bloom this week in the garden. It is super hard to capture this red in the sunshine. Can you feel the heat of this bloom. The Sun Parasol Mandevilla kicked it in gear with the blooms a few weeks ago when the hot temperatures arrived in my garden. I am wishing I would have added some white blooms to the hanging basket below but the creeping jenny is pairing up just fine. Not a day goes by that this bloomer isn’t sharing at least a dozen colorful blooms.

   Bren I love these… I bought a Sun Parasol Mandevilla from kroger a couple of years ago and it was absolutely beautiful!

   The deep red blooms also helped attract a couple of ruby throat hummers to my yard I was thrilled beyond words because I don’t get to see them in my neck of the woods..
