Making the Herb Oils 1st

I have yet to create & share a video share from Garden to Kitchen! I love sharing favorite recipes prepared from the veggies and herbs that we grow here in the garden. I was hesitating to post this video because it is not exactly what I had in mind being choppy. I was rushed with the thunderstorm that was heading our way while taping. However, everyone has to start somewhere and there are some useful tips in this share.

In this recipe share you will need 8 oz. Extra Virgin Olive Oil and your favorite herbs. SUPER EASY to create for any home grown salad!

What are your favorite herbs? Have you used them in this oil dressing recipe before?

Loved the video. I rarely make my own dressing and had no idea it was so easy.

  3. Hello Brenda
It’s been awhile we have been having lots of storm lately!
I’m really into eating local, supporting our local farmers,
veggie garden in a pot or a veggie garden mixed in with
    flowers.
I love your dressing recipe, my daughter is coming home from
Milwaukee tonight and tomorrow we are going to play with
some herbs and make our own home made salad dressings!
    Warm Regards

I love putting herbs in olive oil. Delicious!

  5. I’m growing: Dill, Rosemary, Parsley, Chives, and Basel (2 varieties). I’ve used the Basel quite a bit, for Bruschetta–but haven’t tried dressing yet. That will be my next experiment. Thanks for the idea, dear Bren;-)

YES… I am so happy to have shared that idea! It was one of those shares I wasn’t sure I would do. Your comment made my day!
