Dead: but is it?

Yes, I do believe most people would agree that this bloom is dead.  This morning I was challenged to look deeper finding myself asking ‘ Is it really dead?!”

I attended the Central Ohio Home & Garden Show in Columbus themed ‘Art in Bloom’ and was inspired to be challenged in art.  ART is all around us in all shapes and form.  Dead or Alive!

I hope to challenge you to take a double take at the things around you in your garden and or home.  Is it really dead or can you see the ‘art’  that is alive?

Very Good! Life is often very busy just beyond the bloom!. :) Your photography is AWESOME! So talented!

  2. So the bloom is dead, but of course there’s beauty in that! It’s called “wabi-sabi.” Check it out! —> 侘寂 (Wabi-sabi).

Dead is in the eye of the beholder!

  4. Wow…what a different take on plants. But, it does make sense. I have enjoyed the beauty of dead plants in the midst of winter and their beautiful form that adds so much texture to the landscape.
